Historic Preservation Group created and listed the Wittenberg University Historic District as a planning tool for the University, as well as to provide access to federal and state historic tax credits for select campus projects. The first historic tax credit project completed with Historic Preservation Group was the rehabilitation of the 1929 Fieldhouse as part of a larger $58 MM project. The project earned $8 MM in federal tax credits and was awarded $5 MM in state tax credits.
